On March 31, the Fairfield Police Department responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 2200 block of Fieldstone Ct. The boy was asleep under a bush in the yard of a nearby home.

"I'm horrified at the statements given by these children", said Sharon Henry, the Solano County Chief Deputy District Attorney.

The Solano County District Attorney's Office described this type of crime of torture as inflicting pain with the intent to cause cruel and extreme pain and suffering, and in this instance, for a sadistic objective. The bathroom is strewn with feces at a home in Fairfield, Calif., Monday, May 14, 2018, where authorities removed 10 children and charged their father with torture and their mother with neglect after an investigation revealed a lengthy period of severe physical and emotional abuse.

The 10 children were placed in protective custody by Solano County Child Welfare services before being put into the care of family relatives.

Jonathan Allen, 29, the daddy of the youngsters, has pleaded not responsible to seven counts of torture and 9 counts of felony little one abuse.

Henry expects "appropriate charges" to be added in the coming days to the case against the children's mother, Ina Rogers, 30, who now faces a misdemeanor count of child endangerment.

Ina Rogers, Allen's 30-year-old wife was also taken into custody but released shortly after posting her $10,000 bail.

Ina Rogers, the children's mother, was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of child neglect. "I strive and pride myself on being a good parent to my children". But absolutely not, my husband is an unbelievable person.

Rogers claims the mess came from her tearing the house apart to look for her son in March. "And so I've had many people question my right to parent, and I just feel like this whole situation was exploded", Rogers said, according to ABC News.

The children did not require medical attention when they were removed.

The older of the children recounted incidents to the authorities dating back to 2014 which resulted in puncture wounds, bruises and injuries usually suffered when hit with a BB or airsoft gun.

Rogers told reporters she's surprised police had leveled the most serious accusations against her husband, as he was not the disciplinarian of the family. Kids get rebellious and that's all that happened, ' Rogers said.

Peggy Allen, the mother of Jonathan Allen, said she had talked to Rogers about the condition of the home, saying it was important to keep a clean house.

She and her husband both came from broken homes and they wanted a large family, Rogers said. According to Rogers, the children are now staying with family members.

Despite everyone pointing fingers at Allen, Rogers told the authorities that her husband never abused his sons and daughters.

Neighbour Larry Magnaye said he had no idea there were 10 children living in the house across the street. Rogers stated she works the graveyard shift as an EKG technician at a coronary heart monitoring firm and her husband is a tattoo artist.

"We're in the process of making the decisions to file the appropriate charges", she said. "Once that fear sets in, you don't know what to do so in that moment", she said.
