[London, May 15, 2018] - Honor launches the Honor 10, its flagship smartphone for 2018, today in London.

With that in mind we've created this guide to their similarities and differences to give you an idea of where your money goes and whether the Huawei P20 is worth the extra expense.

Starting with the design, the Honor 10 pretty much looks like a cheaper version of the P20. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor on the back. The bottom bezel on-board houses a rather unconventional always-on fingerprint scanner.

The Honor 10 is also available on contract, but this is exclusively via Three and will be available in stores and online from 17 May. That's a trick the Huawei P20 doesn't manage, despite costing more. The phone has dimensions of 149.6x71.2x7.7mm and weighs 153 grams. And the Chinese company's latest outing - the Honor 10 - looks to keep up that tradition.

The Honor 10 has a 5.84 inch IPS LCD display with a 2280 x 1080 px resolution.

European countries set to get the Honor 10 on May 15 are: Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.

Under the hood, the device is fueled by a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU.

Not sure whether it's the phone for you? It comes with 6 GB of RAM and two storage options, 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage.

Honor 10, after being made official in China, has now arrived to the European market, where fans will be able to order devices from May 16. This is called "Aurora Glass Design" and you will see different colors that match the Aurora Borealis. It can even recognize multiple things within a single scene. The phone has a 16MP RGB camera with a f/1.8 aperture, PDAF and LED flash, and a 24MP monochrome camera with f/1.8 aperture. Notably, the phone has dual-SIM support in addition to the expandable memory card slot, so no more compromises there. We're still collecting all the details, but here's what we know so far. The bundled charger supports fast charging as well.

This has been placed just below the display, giving users a bit of a chin to "deal with". The screen will come with an aspect ratio of 18:9. That's because Honor has opted to use an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display on the Honor 10, backing it up with facial recognition. This SoC has previously been used in the Honor View 10 along with the Huawei Mate 10 series and the Huawei P20/P20 Pro.
