Rudy Giuliani didn't have the best birthday on Monday.

Rudy Giuliani wasn't getting much love from New York Yankees fans on his birthday.

Giuliani made headlines this week when he appeared to admit that the allegations made both by Giuliani and Donald Trump that President Barack Obama spied on Trump's campaign were really part of a public relations ploy to get the public to turn against special counsel Robert Mueller.

"The New York Yankees wish a very happy birthday to Mayor Giuliani", an announcer said during the game, prompting Yankees fans to boo the former New York City mayor.

Giuliani, of course, recently joined President Trump's legal team and has often defended the President on different television segments.

Willie Geist seconded the point by saying Giuliani used to be a respected USA attorney before he started attacking the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department on Trump's behalf.

The Yankees would never recover in the game and lose 5-1 at the hand of the Astros, the same team that beat them in Game 7 to advance to the World Series and ultimately win their first title in franchise history. The Post reports he was booed in 2007 too.

Fans may have been taking out their frustrations on Mr. Giuliani.

Giuliani served as New York City's mayor between 1994 and 2001.
