Here's how to watch the BlackBerry KEY2 unveiling

BlackBerry has confirmed that it is going to launch its latest offering, the BlackBerry KEY2 at an event in NY on June 7.

Other expected specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU backed by a heft 6GB of RAM.

That being said, the changes in design are not noticeable at the first glance. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner that will be embedded on the spacebar of the physical keyboard just like its predecessor. Lastly, those hoping for a 3.5mm headphone jack are in luck, with the connector present on the top of the smartphone. The Key2 should come running Android, like the KeyOne did, and be backed by plenty of super secure enterprise software. We do know that BlackBerry is attempting a previously-untried retail strategy, which has seen it open stores in both Shanghai and Nanjing.

With the official launch date a few days away, more information and not to mention the pricing of the KEY2 will be known soon enough.
