Although we can't independently confirm the authenticity, the poster claims these pictures show a prototype of the Pixel 3 XL.

For reference, here are the two shots from this morning with the screen showing the phone has a Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. That's quite a substantial chin on the screen which, yuck, but it does look like we're keeping the stereo front-facing speakers (the edge of the bottom speaker is just barely visible). Around front, we can see that Google unsurprisingly copied Apple's iPhone X design with a big notch at the top of the display.

We also see that the supposed Pixel 3 XL has a single-lens camera system, much like the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. To be specific, they will be called the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. This means no monochrome, optical zoom, or wide angle shot options for the Pixel 3, but that hasn't stopped Google phones from being some of the best snappers in the past. If you consider a different display to be different - and maybe a slightly different camera experience, too.

At first glance, the backside appears to be very reminiscent of the Pixel 2 duo. This week, however, live images of the Pixel 3 XL's prototype have been revealed, throwing more light on what we should expect from the Google flagship.

According to leaker meraz9000, the device will have a glass back. The HTC U11's squeeze feature seemed like it would be a one-off gimmick, but it's since made its way over to the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL thanks to the close work between HTC and Google. As per the images posted, on right side, there is the usual set of power button and volume rocker and the bottom of the handset the SIM tray will be and the USB Type-C port are placed at the bottom.

That's it for now, but we're hopefully going to see more of this soon. Even among Android vendors, Google is nowhere near the top-selling phone brand despite the fact that its Pixel branded smartphones offer huge advantages over the competition.

As for specs, the Pixel 3 XL is expected to feature about the same specs and performance as every other Android flagship in 2018.
