Warriors strangely roast Kevin Durant at championship parade

Stephen Curry held court from a double-decker bus, neither JaVale McGee nor Jordan Bell could keep their shirts on, and the mayor of Oakland was on hand to take part in the festivities, along with thousands of fans on the streets of The Town.

Draymond Green and the Warriors did plenty of celebrating Tuesday during their championship parade.

'I'm just excited to be here with these guys.

"In lieu of a post-event rally, the Warriors and the City of Oakland have focused their planning efforts exclusively on creating an interactive parade, the primary element of a championship celebration, where fans will have the opportunity to share in the up-close excitement of the 2018 NBA Championship with the Warriors, their players, coaches, legends and staff".

The Golden State Warriors won the 2018 NBA Finals in a clean sweep, eliminating the Cleveland Cavaliers and sending them into a summer of uncertainty with LeBron James' free agency coming up.

That is a solid troll job, but in fairness, as Green explained a year ago, James started it. Even coach Steve Kerr joined in on the fun and walked up to fans to sign autographs.

The entire exchange was just freaky, especially for what should just be a fun celebration on another very successful Warriors season. But I want him to be happy and want him to know that we want him as long as he wants to be here.

The fact of the matter is, we just cut from a different cloth.

He's never been to a Warriors game, but 14-month-old Lincoln is ready to go for his first championship parade. Still, Durant made it clear he has no designs on leaving Golden State.
