The Stranger Things star announced on Instagram on Friday that she'll be unable to attend Saturday's MTV Movie & TV Awards after splitting her kneecap.

Find out if Dan pulls out a win when the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards air Monday, June 18 at 9 p.m. on the cable network! "I have split my kneecap", Brown said with her crutches in view.

The actress sent her best wishes to her castmembers as "Stranger Things" is nominated for six awards this year. Stranger Things season 2 featured a time jump (from 83 to 84) and with the craziness that unfolded in season 2 we wouldn't be surprised if they jumped once more to 85 or further.

Individually, Millie is up for the Best Actor in a Show and the Best Kiss Award for her smooch with co-star Finn Wolfhard. I wish you guys the best. "I'll be there in spirit!"

The star recently deleted her Twitter account after she unwittingly became a homophobic meme. She hasn't tweeted from the account since December 2017.

Millie herself frequently posted on social media, updating on her whereabouts and posting sweet messages with boyfriend YouTuber Jacob Sartorius.

The hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown started a year ago, according to one Twitter user, when someone claimed in a tweet that the actress refused to take a picture with her unless she removed her hijab.
