During her time Kate has been reportedly looking after Prince Louis with the help of their family nanny, Maria Borrallo.

His christening will be the first time Prince Louis has been spotted in public since his birth at St Mary's Hospital in London.

Much like her pregnancy with George, Kate also worked right up until she was eight months pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

Prince Louis will wear a a replica lace and satin dress created for Queen Victoria's eldest child, 177 years ago, like his older siblings.

Prince George was christened in the same location in 2013.

Prince Louis' christening details have been revealed!

Following in the tradition of all the other royal children - including his older brother Prince George and Princess Charlotte - Prince Louis will be welcomed into the Church of England at the ceremony, presided over by the Archbishop of Canterbury at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in London.

Prince Louis of Cambridge's christening will take place on July 9, Kensington Palace has announced. The Chapel Royal, where Louis' service will also be, was where the Duchess of Sussex had her own christening earlier this year.

Prince Louis was last seen shortly after his birth in April when he was taken home by his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince Louis will be three months old, which is how old Prince George was for his Christening, while Princess Charlotte was two months old at the time of hers at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham.

Who is performing the christening?

Prince William and Middleton will reportedly make a compromise for their son's christening.

Sister Princess Charlotte was also christened about two months after Kate gave birth to her.
