A walkthrough stream of Cyberpunk 2077's E3 and Gamescom demo was uploaded to Twitch today.

From character creation to exploration of the game's world, the gameplay demo that is now be streamed on the official twitch channel for CD PROJEKT RED has plenty to show off for viewers in order to quench their thirst for the popular game unti it is released. Fans theorized it could be anything from a new trailer to a release date.

In an interview with Engadget, producer Richard Borzymowski explained that the game can be played through from beginning to end, with the story in place. They find her in an apartment full of scavengers, criminals who strip cybernetics from people to sell. Since many assets and mechanics are likely to change before launch, the developer chose to initially show this demo to the media only. CD Projekt Red has previously stated that they are aiming for a current-gen release date, so it's plausible we might not see the game until late 2019 at the earliest or even 2020.

After having seen the gorgeous Cyberpunk 2077 demo that CD Projekt RED just livestreamed, you might be wondering whether it's part of the actual game or just a vertical slice.

"However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw." - adds Badowski.

Ever since I started writing about Cyberpunk 2077 I always imagined what it'd look like.

CD Projekt RED is careful to note the gameplay footage is an early work-in-progress and things haven't been finalized. "So for the trailer we really wanted to show how you could take the cyberpunk elements of this dystopian world and show it when the sun's out".
