Bryson DeChambeau reacts after putting out on the 18th hole during the final round of the Dell Technologies Championship golf tournament at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., Monday, Sept. 3, 2018.

Tiger Woods, whose return to form is also expected to see him named to one of the three Ryder Cup places on Tuesday, struggled with a final day 71 to finish at seven under par for the tournament.

With Thomas Bjorn's Ryder Cup team set to be finalised tomorrow when the Dane selects his four wildcards, fans still have the chance to watch Europe's best during Ryder Cup week at Le Golf National with limited tickets still available.

The three will join the eight players who previously earned automatic spots on the US team that will take on Team Europe at Le Golf National in France beginning September 28.

And he would appear to be a shoo-in to be one of USA captain Jim Furyk's three Ryder Cup picks to be announced Tuesday.

The final captain's pick spot is widely considered a choice between Tony Finau and reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Xander Schauffele, with Finau believed to have the advantage with one event remaining. Furyk makes his fourth selection after the BMW Championship.

Rose bogeyed his first two holes and played his front nine in 1 over, but birdied four of his last six holes.

DeChambeau attended the last Ryder Cup, outside of Minneapolis - as a spectator.

"This is most likely my last chance to go to be a part of a winning USA team in Europe, and obviously the one thing that has been missing for our team has been to go over to Europe and win, " Mickelson said. "It's going to be an interesting crowd".

Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau also received at-large picks and will join qualifiers Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Webb Simpson.

When Mickelson, 48, won in Mexico in the March to end a five-year winless drought, he thought it would be a certainty he'd be on the team. "How much? I would say it depends on what I can do in the restrictions of my biomechanics". He declined to speak with media after his round, but is still a prime candidate to earn a captain's pick for the Ryder Cup. He is a former U.S. Amateur champion and has already developed a bond with Woods, looking to speculation about a possible pairing in France.

With Woods now part of Furyk's team rather than backroom staff, David Duval, Zach johnson and Matt Kuchar have been added as United States vice-captains.

Furyk said Woods will no longer serve as a vice captain.
