Apple will soon introduce its largest iPhone with a 6.5-inch OLED display. Now, sources indicate that the larger variant with a 6.5-inch display will be called iPhone Xs Max, 9to5 Mac reported.

The more affordable 6.1-inch iPhone expected to launch this year won't be as exciting as its pricier siblings, but it seems Apple has some tricks up its sleeve to make it more appealing. For starters, the Apple iPhone 8 comes with a 4.7 inch HD IPS display, which is pretty small as per 2018 standards.

I'd like to think that "Plus" sounds better than "Max", just by default, but apparently we're going to live in a world where the "iPhone excess" isn't bad enough, but now we can have maximum excess, too.

It is officially confirmed that Apple will be hosting its biggest hardware event on Wednesday, September 12, according to OSXDaily. The company did the same past year with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X but things might be a little different this time.

Apple's September 12 event is fast approaching, finally revealing its new lineup of iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and perhaps even MacBooks. Last year, Apple launched a battery replacement program for infected iPhone models following reports of Apple slowing down older iPhone models. Additionally, Apple could unveil the first-ever iPad models with Face ID, as well as a long-rumored MacBook Air replacement - and that's just for starters. So, it's important to know how much you can get for your smartphone, if you choose to part with it. MusicMacpie, a British company in the smartphone resell business, has looked into the matter and came out with some interesting results.

Apple noted that it does not expect significant growth in iPhone unit volume in fiscal 2019, meaning a price increase could be expected. It'll outsize the iPhone XS, which is said to maintain a familiar 5.8-inch screen.

Pricing is believed to range from £599 to £699 for that model, stepping up to £999 for the 5.8-inch iPhone XS and £1,049 for the iPhone XS Max.

iPhone XS leak also accompanied the leak of Apple Watch. This would represent a new color variant, as the iPhone X was only made available in silver and grey finishing.
