Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday cast doubt on the second woman to come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, claiming the accusation "doesn't pass the smell test".

She has alleged that Mr Kavanaugh would "drink excessively at many of these parties and engage in abusive and physically aggressive behaviour toward girls".

"I also witnessed Brett Kavanaugh behave as a "mean drunk" on many occasions at these parties", Swetnick said.

In a signed declaration under penalty of perjury, Ms. Swetnick claims that Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge "were present" when she was raped by multiple boys.

The release of Swetnick's affidavit comes one day before Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford were set to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Also on Sunday, The New Yorker published an article detailing an allegation from Deborah Ramirez, a former Yale University classmate of Kavanaugh's, who said Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a dorm-room party during the 1983-84 school year. Avenatti would not elaborate on the number of clients but said he represents them alone. "I have never done any such thing, known about any such thing".

However, the committee has scheduled a vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation for Friday morning. "These boys included Mark Judge Brett Kavanaugh", Swetnick said. She alleged Kavanaugh and his friends "spiked" the drinks of girls at house parties.

FOX 5 has not been able to corroborate Swetnick's allegations and is investigating the claims.

Democrats fear that if Kavanaugh is confirmed, he will cement a conservative majority on the Supreme Court for the first time in several generations, which could result in decisions limiting or repealing the 1973 Roe v. Wade case, which created abortion rights nationwide.

Both Kavanaugh and Judge have denied her account.

"Since he's been a professional, he's had a lot of women work for him, and no one who's ever worked for him has ever suggested that he was anything other than professional", Graham continued. There should be an investigation into these allegations, made in a sworn affidavit, and other named witnesses, including Mark Judge, must be called to testify.

Swetnick does not explicitly accuse Kavanaugh of assaulting her but alleges he was involved in these "gang" rapes.
