OnePlus 6T: Why We're Excited About It's Release

The teaser was posted on the company's official Twitter account and the 5-second teaser video shows a part of the front panel of the phone.

Some more renders of the OnePlus 6T have leaked ahead of the official launch later this month. Notably, the pictures don't reveal any new information about the smartphone.

OnePlus 6T will have the same Mirror Black and Midnight black colors as the OnePlus 6. Anyways, as the renders show, the OnePlus 6T has a dual camera setup on the rear, so the leaks and rumors of a triple camera setup were simply fake. The teardrop notch will sport the selfie camera on it. Whether they will or not we'll find out when the OnePlus 6T is announced on October 17th. It's similar to recent models from Oppo and Vivo - who share the same parent company as OnePlus. The sensors are expected to be embedded inside the display just like the V11 Pro. But the 6T's internals are likely to be beefed up compared to the mid-rangey F9. Further, we already know that the 3.5mm headphone jack is out and it will have a larger battery with the capacity of 3,700 mAh as opposed to 3,300 mAh in OnePlus 6.

Other than that the earpiece is hidden over the front-facing camera so it does not take up precious screen space either.

While people have nothing against tiny notches and in-screen fingerprint sensors, another change on the 6T may not be very welcome.

The lead up to the launch of a OnePlus phone is a long drawn out process of teasing, and that's where we find ourselves with the OnePlus 6T and the focus this time is the under-display fingerprint sensor. Yes, unlike the OnePlus 6, the upcoming OnePlus phone will come with two speaker grills to deliver better music experience.
