OnePlus has officially confirmed that the next flagship smartphone-OnePlus 6T- will be launched on October 30. Earlier, it was rumoured the phone would make its debut in India on October 17, but everything turned out to be false.

Meanwhile, those in India will see a launch event in New Dehli beginning at 8:30PM IST the same day. The company is famed for ramping up the hype ahead of a new launch, and things are no different with its latest handset. In India, the event will take place at KDJW Stadium, inside Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi. The sale is also probably the last time when interested buyers can lay their hands on OnePlus 6 as the company has a history of phasing out older devices after unveiling a newer device.

OnePlus has revealed more about the upcoming OnePlus 6T. Meanwhile, OnePlus fans will be able to buy the invites for the smartphone's launch event via the company's website.

Clearly, this is an exciting launch and some lucky OnePlus followers will get the chance to be at this event. The OnePlus 6T will arrive with a slightly larger display, and it will sport a somewhat larger battery as well. Unlike most other smartphone makers, OnePlus has a biannual release cycle, with each new smartphone coming with incremental upgrades. We know it's going to have a waterdrop notch and we know it'll have an in-display fingerprint solution called 'Screen Unlock.'

The OnePlus 6T is the successor to the OnePlus 6, which was released less than six months ago.

The OnePlus 6T will also be the first OnePlus phone with a United States carrier partnership: People will be able to buy it from T-Mobile. Along with some bank offers, the final price of the base variant comes down to Rs 27,999.
