Meghan’s baby bump on show at Fiji state dinner

Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, are now on their 16-day trip to Australia and South Pacific.

The Duke is attending a separate ceremony at the Coo-I-Suva forest site to unveil Fiji's contribution to the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy Project.

Despite the presence of Zika virus in the country, Prince Harry and Meghan have made no changes to their Fiji schedule.

The Duke of Sussex is now on his 16-day royal tour with Meghan Markle.

Andrews added that the "Fijian blue" of Meghan's dress is a "tribute to her hosts".

Harry had told his pregnant wife to take it easy as the couple carry out a 16-day tour across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.


At the dinner, president Jioji Konrote said Harry's late mother Diana would be "proud of the man" Harry had become and that he had found happiness and love with Meghan.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Suva, Fiji, for the second portion of their tour on Tuesday for a series of ceremonial engagements. "The duchess and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible during the next two days and celebrating the links and close friendship between Fiji and the United Kingdom".

People of all ethnicities, young and old started to trickle into the large park in the centre of the Fijian capital at least three hours before the start of yesterday's beautifully crafted traditional ceremony.

About 100 men performed a war dance or meke for the couple who then moved across the road to the Grand Pacific Hotel.

Crowds of people stood in the rain to witness the royal couple wave from the GPH balcony.
