Here's a tiny glimmer of good news in a sea of (literal trash): Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have brokered a fragile peace after a night of exchanging social-media cross fire, several weeks after reportedly almost coming to physical blows at a New York Fashion Week after-party.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have finally buried the hatchet.

The "Chun-Li" rapper accused Cardi B of sabotaging her opportunity to work on a record with Offset and 21 Savage due to Minaj's supposed lyrical references to the Bronx-bred rapper.

We'll have to see where the next installment takes us, but for now, they've called some sort of truce.

The "I Like It" rapper, who is of Dominican and Trinidadian descent, said that she's "very" proud of her Hispanic heritage and plans for Kulture to learn multiple languages.

Cardi reposted the message on her Instagram account, adding her own caption encouraging "positivity".

In the second Instagram snap, the Thought I Knew You musician gazes directly into the camera while showing off her flawless skin complexion.

In response to Nicki's remarks about burying the hatchet, Cardi said she was "tired of talking about" their feud also, and said that Minaj knows how to get a hold of her if she's serious about it.

Along with claiming that the knot on Cardi's head was caused by TV personality Rah Ali hitting her (and not security, which Cardi's team initially claimed) Minaj says that Cardi tried to take footage of the fight from her security. "You can't control your sister, but you want me to control millions of fans?"

'I've never leaked a number in my life and y'all continue to lie on me to make me look like a bad person.

You might find yourself saying, "But, wait, where is the peace?" 'OK you guys, let's focus on positive things, ' according to DailyMail.

Ina series of 10 clips, Cardi reviled Nicki over a series of disagreements, most notably the fashion week fiasco. "Love you", Nicki wrote. "First you say you've got the footage, but then you say you wanna pay somebody $100,000 if they give you footage? Let's keep it positive and keep it pushing!"
