Mac Miller's cause of death has been revealed as an "accidental overdose".

Rapper Mac Miller died from an accidental overdose due to a combination of alcohol and drugs, including fentanyl, a coroner's report released Monday said.

"The manner of death was certified as an accident", it added.

'Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26, ' it read.

Law enforcement sources say it was clear to paramedics that Mac was dead long before they arrived.

Miller was discovered unconscious in his home on September 7 and was pronounced dead at 11:51 a.m. after emergency crews arrived. TMZ has obtained the toxicology report from the L.A. County Coroner's Office. The report further states that Miller was found in his bedroom with blood coming from one of his nostrils, and that cocaine residue, alcohol, and a prescription drug bottle were found by police.

Miller's death rocked the music community.

Chance the Rapper, SZA and Miguel were among the artists to perform at a tribute concert at the weekend. But critical pans accompanied his success, and he had been candid about his struggles with stress, depression and drugs. He also was arrested for an alleged DUI and hit-and-run in May. "I was so f-- up all the time it was bad. It should be all the emotions".
