Hill was on the field for 25 defensive snaps, about half of Seattle's defensive plays and only two less than McDougald. He was a full participant in practice for the first time this week on Friday.

Wilson's day mirrored Seattle's as a whole. You can't sit back and feel like we've got the whole world in our hands.

White was selected by the Chargers in the fourth round in last April's draft and played in the first three games.

In the Seahawks' convincing Week 8 victory over the Lions, Russell Wilson had a "perfect" game in which he averaged over 14 yards per attempt.

The Seahawks struggled to run the ball after the first quarter against the Chargers.

Unfortunately for the Chargers, Caleb Sturgis missed the extra point, so at that point it was 7-6. One other key player that is officially going to miss the game are Joey Bossa, who hasn't made his 2018 debut and his presence on the edge, both getting after the quarterback and playing the run has been missed. Wilson was sacked three times and while he was 15 of 20 passing for 148 yards during that stretch, many of those completions came with Seattle facing long down-and-distance situations. We've got a lot to prove.

"We had a chance to win a game that's right there for us", Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. Though he's only found the end zone once so far, Allen remains the top target for Rivers and he's still on pace for over 1,100 yards, making him a tough matchup for Seahawks cornerbacks Shaquill Griffin and Tre Flowers.

NOTES: Carroll said G D.J. Fluker (calf) appeared to be OK. Wilson scrambled for 16 yards to the Chargers 28 and, after a spike, Seattle had 30 seconds left. After scoring a touchdown on their opening possession, the Seahawks got just three points out of the next nine drives. His passer rating of 105 was still stellar and, most importantly, his control of the ball ensured that his team won, but it was a shakier start than usual.

"It was really close".

"We've just got to do a better job", Clark said.
