Apple iPad Pro (2018), with 12.9-inch and 11-inch screens, were launched alongside the updated MacBook Air and Mac mini at an event in NY last week. One of its absolute hallmark power-features is the presence of the USB-C port that turns the iPad from a tablet to a device that can connect to a host of other gadgets, from MIDI controllers, to DSLRs, to even external displays and projectors.

So while the revamped iPad Pro is an undeniably slick, capable tablet, the question remains whether it is worth the upgrade, or whether it's worth paying as much as a laptop computer to purchase. Though the device is yet to reach all around the world, we got our hands on its stock wallpaper set. Well, the second-generation Apple Pencil attaches to the iPad Pro magnetically and charges wirelessly while doing so. In this post, we have posted the download link. Each new iPhone or iPad generation features new silicon made by Apple, and the iPad Pros come with an even better version of the A12 Bionic that powers the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS Max. Following in the footsteps of the iPhone X, Apple chose to ditch the Home button on the iPad Pro, replacing it with Face ID. With the Apple A12X already looking like a good competitor for mobile Intel Core i5 and i7 chips, the signs are good for Apple's smooth transition to further vertical integration in Mac computers.

Apple also played up software partnerships with Adobe Inc (ADBE.O) and Autodesk Inc (ADSK.O), whose programs will now work on Apple's iPad Pro.

Here is the download link for the complete collection of latest iPad Pro 2018. Throw in an in-built dual speaker system by Harman Kardon and you've got the ideal tool to turn your iPad into a home-theater!

Prices for the smaller iPad Pro 11 start at $799 (£769, AU$1,229) for the Wi-Fi only, 64GB model, but can rise to a lofty $1,699 (£1,669, AU$2,569) if you opt for the 1TB of storage plus Wi-Fi and cellular configuration. If you like the wallpapers, download and enjoy. I don't think I'm just stuck in some old way of thinking or that I need to spend more time inventing a new workflow out of Siri Shortcuts and glue. They call it their HyperDrive for iPad Pro. But most importantly, the price is a fraction of what the iPad Pro costs.

On its website, Apple says USB-C "gives you a high-performance connection to accessories like an external display or camera".

Those new to the tablet game, those considering whether to ditch their laptop for a slate, or any iPad Air user who's been patiently waiting for the right moment, however, are well advised to take it for a spin.
