In fact, you might have realized that Apple doesn't sell any of its products through Amazon's website or app except through third party sellers. That means that no third-parties that are not authorized to sell Apple products will be able to list and sell products through Amazon, which means a consistent experience and genuine quality products can be purchased if buying an Apple product through Amazon.

The deal, revealed by CNET, will cover Apple's latest devices, including the new iPad Pro, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and Apple Watch Series 4, as well as Apple's lineup of Beats headphones.

Prior to the agreement, just a limited selection of Apple devices were available directly through Amazon. The deal will see the new products hitting the various Amazon sites in the coming weeks.

In the case of other non-US markets: France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom are all going to see the hot Apple products on their Amazon sites along with the US. You can either make an appointment with a service provider or your local Apple Store, or you can contact Apple Support to find out about mailing in your phone for service.

News of the arrangement comes days after both Amazon and Apple reported mixed earnings results.

War broke out in 2015 when Amazon banned sales of Apple devices on its platform.

Apple-authorised resellers in India include the likes of Reliance Digital, Chroma and Sangeetha, which are largely offline sellers and see themselves as rivals of Amazon. The company didn't respond to a request for comment Friday evening. Apple is partnering with Amazon to officially open the doors for authorized resellers to list the former's latest tablets, smartphones, and smartwatches on the digital marketplace. Independent sellers with Apple inventory will have their listings removed after January 4, 2019.
