Toronto's Danny Green (back) makes an early exit on Wednesday

"Just went out there and hooped". He shot 4-for-12 on Wednesday, and is now shooting a career-low 39.0 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from deep. The depth of Brad Stevens' team along with its chemistry are its two strongest points.

Utah improved from 15 assists in Philadelphia to 23 against the Celtics. The teams, which have won 11 of the last 12 Atlantic Division championships, will play twice more.

Boston scored its fewest points since a 93-90 loss at Orlando on October 22.

Needless to say, it had been a long time between that type of offensive display and it couldn't have come at a better time for a Boston team that has been struggling to start the season. Serge Ibaka scored 21 and Pascal Siakam had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Raptors, who never led in overtime.

For now, first year coach Nick Nurse has done a good job of sustaining the team chemistry built under Dwane Casey while making sure Lowry feels appreciated after his best friend was traded away.

"Coming into the season we were all expecting that we would just kind of take over", Boston's Al Horford said after Wednesday's win, "and we're very risky. We're still not there yet".

The Celtics scored 17 points in the third quarter and hit on just 5 of 33 from beyond the arc.

What Went Wrong: Basically everything else, some of which wasn't within the Celtics' control (like Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio recovering from recent slumps of awfulness) but a whole lot that was. Mitchell blocked a dunk attempt by Hayward and Utah took it the other way for an alley-oop dunk by Favors from Geoges Niang to put the Jazz up 83-64 with 9:07 left to play.

The Jazz improved to 8-8 with the victory and snapped a two-game losing streak. "We talked after the last time we played (last Friday in Salt Lake City), and then he went out and had 27 (the next game in Portland)". Boston looks to keep the winning times rolling as they continue a three-game homestand against the Raptors (12-3), who are looking like the team the beat in the East. In the end, Stevens left him on the bench along with his starter teammates at the end of a blowout Jazz win. "It can't only be one or two guys doing the things we all have to do and be consistent with it".

The Jazz powered past the Celtics for a win on Saturday night. Irving surpassed the 2,500 assist milestone.

The Celtics will have a chance to get back on track against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday (7 ET, NBA League Pass).
