Fans of the hit TV series Game of Thrones have been eagerly awaiting the release of its final season. The ice-coloured smoke then moves over the wolf (which represents Winterfell) frozen solid, then a Targaryen dragon.

The teaser dropped after the Comic Con experience in Brazil, where creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss were on hand to greet fans. The eight season of the popular fantasy drama will premiere in April, nearly two years after season seven.

Anyway, the new trailer is here and it's basically just a load of ice being met by a load of fire and fuck knows what any of that means. The recently released script details show that Tyrion is actually in love with her since Game of Thrones season 6.

Winter may be well and truly behind us, but come next year, we'll be getting a winter the likes of which we've never seen.

The teaser captioned "Fire and Ice", shows frost descending over Westeros, symbolizing the slow march of the White Walkers south beyond the Wall.

Most notably, the lion of Lannister burns up, in an image that evokes the fiery "Loot Train Battle" last season.

Game of Thrones which brings the story from George R.R. Martin's novels about the quest to claim the Iron Throne alive, is known for the twists and turns, ruthless killing scenes, unexpected deaths all wrapped up with emotion and drama. But the story of Game of Thrones has always been about fire and ice, be it White Walkers and Targaryens, or aunts and nephews who may unite the kingdom by being in accidentally incestuous relationships.
