"Cardi will always love Offset, but ultimately lost trust in their relationship", the source told E!

Meanwhile, Cardi B performed at New York's Jingle Ball this weekend, and part of her set was Migos' "Motorsport", the Culture 2 track on which Cardi features.

"I really don't like how people say me and my husband - whatever he is right now to me - is doing it for publicity", she said. She added, "I wouldn't put my family in a bad name for no f**king publicity".

Cardi also addressed people's comments about her moving too fast in her relationship with Offset as the two got engaged and married within a year of dating. "To me, it's not 'cause that takes away [from] people paying attention to your craft", Cardi continued.

But at her core, Cardi B is a mother first, and went live on Instagram Sunday to slam any rumors that her breakup was for publicity. People have kids, I don't regret anything because at the end of the day I have my daughter [and] she's lovely, gorgeous, funny, I love her.

"A lot of girls would just deal with this situation and just be like, 'yo, I'm the reason they're getting a divorce.' I feel ashamed". "I ain't really know much about the music industry and you know my husband helped me". He made me wiser. He let me open my eyes to a lot of things. As for Offset, he doesn't seemed to be pleased about it, as he tweeted in all-caps yesterday, "F**K YALL I MISS CARDI".

In 2018, the 26-year-old star welcomed her daughter Kulture and racked up five Grammy nominations. I'm very sorry that this has happened and I'm very sorry that I didn't think about my worth as a young lady, and I just hope that she can overcome this.
