Bayern disrespecting Chelsea over Hudson-Odoi pursuit - Sarri

We'll have to wait and see how things develop but as much as Higuain would be an exciting addition for Chelsea, it would also be something of a risk to sign a 31-year-old who's never played in the Premier League and may take some time to adjust to life in England.

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said on Wednesday that the 18-year-old has the qualities his side want amid reports of repeated bids for the winger.

"As you know very well I am not in control of the transfer market", Sarri said.

It seems the paid could now be reunited at Stamford Bridge this month, if Marca's report is accurate, and Higuain would become Chelsea's second major signing of the winter window after a deal was agreed to sign Christian Pulisic - who'll arrive in the summer.

Higuain's brother is claimed to have held talks with Chelsea to assess the possibility of a deal this month. "My opinion is important for the club, but I can not tell you my opinion". I don't know what to say, I do not know the situation.

"Of course if he was to go to another club then we need a replacement", he said.

But he did admit Chelsea would need to find a replacement if out-of-form Spain striker Morata leaves, with Sevilla and Atletico Madrid reportedly interested in signing him on loan.

Sarri declined to comment on persistent links with his former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan at AC Milan from Juventus.

"There are 300 players involved in the market and they need to think only to the next match otherwise it is impossible to play". Lampard has admired Hudson-Odoi's performances from afar and hopes the England Under-19 global is still a Chelsea player when the January transfer window closes. I am happy with the player because he is improving, improving a lot in the defensive phase.

"We need to improve in the box".

Hudson-Odoi, who made his first-team debut in the FA Cup in January previous year, made a second successive start in the Carabao Cup first-leg defeat by Tottenham.
