David De Gea reacts to Man United’s 1-0 win at Tottenham

An open second half saw both teams create a raft of chances, but Hugo Lloris and the exceptional De Gea came out on top, with United moving level on 41 points with fifth-placed Arsenal as a result.

The performance was so sensational, that social media has erupted in common praise for the Spanish International, and #DavesSaves has become somewhat of a trend on Twitter. "That is why we love football".

Since Mourinho's departure, Pogba's form has spectacularly improved, scoring four goals and setting up as many - including the victor in Sunday's win at Tottenham - in five league games under Solskjaer, and the France global puts it down to being given freedom.

Pochettino's side looked re-energised at the start of the second half, with De Gea making crucial saves from Kane and Dele Alli within five minutes of the restart.

United took all three points from Wembley following Marcus Rashford's first-half goal, but Spurs passed up a series of chances after the break, with David de Gea forced to make 11 saves in the visiting goal.
