Chelsea are unwilling to loan their 25-year-old striker to Spurs so they would only entertain a permanent deal from their fiercest rivals, while they are also asking for around £35 million ($46m).

However, it has not been a successful spell in Spain for the Belgium global.

Batshuayi's future has been the subject of intense speculation on deadline day, with the likes of West Ham United, Everton, Real Betis and Tottenham Hotspur having been linked with the Belgian.

The Belgian scored goals for fun when he was loaned to Borussia Dortmund, but has failed to find that form for Valencia this season.

Everton were also interested in the Belgium worldwide but have been scared off by the asking price, while West Ham have failed in their attempts over a loan deal.

Batshuayi is still technically on loan at Valencia but has been frozen out of the first-team picture in recent months.

The Mail, meanwhile, believe Batshuayi is not interested in joining the Hammers.

But Spurs have chose to not pursue a deal despite the injury to Harry Kane keeping the England captain out until March.

Michy Batshayui joined Chelsea in 2016 with very high hopes but all the player has done is move around Europe on various loan spells.

"Now, a big, big development as well in the last few minutes because we have been told that talks have also been held with Spurs about Michy Batshuayi moving on loan to Spurs.

It looks like it could be West Ham or Real Betis". He's turned us down at least twice before this window & insulted our fans on Twitter who critisized him going to Chelsea for money.
