That off-putting overnight number came on the heels of what was the lowest-scoring contest in Super Bowl history and a Maroon 5 halftime performance that failed to attract much notice prior to - or during - Sunday night's game.

Why? Using the hashtag #ImWithKap, several celebrities took to social media to say they'd be boycotting it in support of former National Football League player Colin Kaepernick.

And in case her stance on the matter wasn't clear, she then posted a portrait of Kaepernick kneeling with the caption "For those of you who thought I was watchin super bowl. we beefin". Y'all make the most money off our people.

In addition to some backstage footage of Steelers legend Franco Harris, we get to hear some dialogue from Giants quarterback Eli Manning, 49ers legends Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, and Deion Sanders.

Cardi B hopes the protests supporting Kaepernick can create positive change in the world, but she's not sure if that will happen anytime soon. "'That was the worst day, you know, like get your mind right, '" he said.
