It now seems Titanfall 3 won't happen anytime soon, if at all, with Respawn now dedicating their time between Apex Legends and the still unseen Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It will be called Apex Legends, but the developers haven't announced anything official about it just yet.

- Lead producer Drew McCoy discusses the development of Apex Legends.

One thing that did not turn out to be true was that Apex Legends would be getting a reveal trailer to be shown during the Super Bowl. Here's how to download and install Apex Origins on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

"So you probably don't have to call in sick, just fake food poisoning at lunch and go home early". It pits 60 players in teams of three against one another in the Titanfall universe, although crucially doesn't feature the franchise's unique selling points; Titans or wall-running. This may have been because they were working on a new battle royale set inside the Titanfall universe. This isn't the first time a game's reveal has been ruined, but Respawn CEO Vince Zampella took it in stride and confirmed the game's existence, telling everyone to check the game's Twitch account on Monday.

"So, if you like Respawn, our games or even me, you should tune in tomorrow [Monday, February 4]", a tweet from Zampella reads. Apex Coins are the only kind that can be purchased with real-world money, and they're used to buy Apex Packs (the game's equivalent of loot boxes), Legends (playable characters), and featured items. "Our stream starts at 8am PT [9:30pm IST] and we'll tell you everything about Apex Legends".

Reports have also begun to pop up on other sites that Apex Legends has completely replaced a third Titanfall game - according to Kotaku, Titanfall 3 isn't now in development and Apex Legends is what we're getting instead.
