Ocasio-Cortez, Pressley join protest for immigrants in limbo

The Washington Post's Robert Costa tweeted Tuesday morning: "McConnell is considering taking up the green new deal for a vote in the Senate as a way to rattle Sen Dems, per a McConnell aide here at the [Capitol]".

One student had a more serious view of the plan, saying, "if we didn't do that, we're going to be killing ourselves".

The proposals known as the Green New Deal were crafted in conjunction with Senator Ed Markey of MA.

Introduced by freshman Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., it has gotten some lip service from presidential hopefuls in the Senate, including Sens.

A few of the Green New Deal's provisions include: "upgrading all existing buildings", "overhauling transportation systems" to reduce carbon emissions, and getting to a point where air travel stops become unnecessary.

For now, the Green New Deal is only a resolution that can only be brought to the House floor if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi decides to opt in. A woman described a date with Ansari, which she said ended with him pressuring her into performing oral sex.

However, after walking through the contents of the Green New Deal, their tune quickly shifted.

But the numbers are growing.

"Republicans don't want to debate climate change, they only want to deny it", Markey said in a statement.

Directly after his speech in El Paso, Trump got a peppered answer by Ocasio-Cortez: "Ah Yes, a man who cannot even read the Briefings, which are written in full sentences, provides literary criticism of a Resolution of the house of representatives", back wedged to the 29-Year-old via Twitter.

As Trump lashed out at his political foes in El Paso, TX, he called Ocasio-Cortez's environmental policy proposal "a massive government takeover that would destroy the incredible economic gains" the country has seen during his presidency. His status as the vice chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus suggests he could help woo Republican support for the measure. Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts).

Some Republicans even accused Democrats of proposing to do away with treats like ice cream by seeking to address bovine flatulence, which last week's memo highlights as a significant source of greenhouse gases. Livestock will be banned. John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
