One of Xiaomi's most interesting products is the Mi Mix line that is characterized by its ridiculous slim bezels.

Xiaomi has introduced the launch of its first ever 5G smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. Also, since we're on the subject of 5G, the upgraded Mi MIX 3 isn't going to cost all that much, so it should come as a sigh of relief for future customers. They announced the Mi Mix 3 previous year in November that featured this classic design with the addition of a fun magnetic sliding front camera setup. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC along with an Snapdragon X50 5G modem that is touted to deliver 20 times sustained performance. This means the Mi Mix 5G is capable of downloading a 15-minute 1080p (256MB) video in a second or 26 MP3 files (320Kbps) in a second.

Xiaomi has announced that the Mi 9 price will be €499 (about Rs 36,000) for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The display is a 6.39-inch 19.5:9 Samsung AMOLED, and beneath that is a "new and improved in-screen fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone up to 25% faster than the previous generation", Xiaomi promises. This means aside from the new chipset and 5G support, the Mi Mix 3 5G has the same hardware as of the original Mi Mix 3 that debuted in China back in October past year. The modem is claimed to enable 2Gbps+ peak download speed on a 5G network. Xiaomi says the new system has been certified safe by TÜV Rheinland and announced three 20W wireless chargers to use it with: a 20W Mi Wireless Charging Pad, 20W wireless auto charger, and a 10,000 mAh wireless power bank.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 packs a lot of flagship inside a €450 package.

Pre-orders for the Mi 9 in Spain have already been started through Authorised Mi Stores, Mi.com, Cdiscount, Darty, and Fnac. There are three smartphones in the Mi 9 series including the affordable Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Explorer Edition. It will be available in two colors: onyx black and sapphire blue.
