Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper took the stage at the 2019 Oscars last night to perform an unbelievable version of Shallow that took the audience's breath away! "Hot damn." Same, Lucy.

"One of the hardest things in life is to be fearless enough to be yourself", Gaga said.

Lady Gaga has won an Oscar in the Best Original Song category for Shallow. She seemed unfazed, however, taking part in a standing ovation at the end of the performance.

But Spice Girls singer Mel B did not approve of the performance as she found it too "uncomfortable" to watch, especially as Cooper's girlfriend, Irina Shayk, was in the audience, reports the New York Post.

But don't go thinking that Gaga and Cooper's on-stage chemistry is going to lead the two into a romance.

When Gaga and Cooper returned to their seats, Shayk hugged and kissed her longtime boyfriend and also congratulated Gaga. But before that, it turns out that Cooper had something to tell his A Star Is Born co-star and it was apparently exactly what Gaga needed to hear at the time!

Gaga was asked by an Australian reporter about her fans that were headed to Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney this week, and what she'd say to them. Their roles in the film A Star is Born brought them together, but it's becoming hard to distinguish between their on-screen romance and off-screen interactions.

On Twitter, the most-tweeted moments were similar: "Green Book" took the No. 1 spot, followed by "Shallow" winning original song, Malek's win, Gaga-Cooper's performance, and Olivia Colman snagging the best actress trophy for "The Favourite".

"I think when you're in the room with this person, you don't have to do too much".

Speaking to Variety before the awards show on Sunday (February 24), Shangela said: "Honestly, I'm just so grateful to be here".

Some viewers loved their act, with actress Alyssa Milano among the many praising it. Obviously, Gaga and Cooper were meant to be when it came down to one Hollywood movie, but they're just good pals in their personal lives.
