Love Island Star Mike Thalassitis Dead at 26

His cause of death has yet to be released.

Mr Thalassitis has died just a few months after his best friend died, The Daily Mail reported.

Some reports have surfaced that the ex-footballer was having a hard time dealing with the death of his grandmother, who passed away a few months ago.

Love Island star Mike Thalassitis was found dead at age 26.

Singer Caroline Flack, who hosts the show, wrote, "Mike... you were a total gentleman..."

Mike had recently moved in with his 94-year-old grandmother as her full-time carer.

He also appeared in E4 reality dating series Celebs Go Dating previous year.

Thalassitis competed on the third season of the British reality show back in 2017, where he became known as "Muggy Mike".

Mike was previously in a relationship with The Only Way Is Essex star Megan McKenna, before the pair split earlier this year.
