'Husband from hell': Trump escalates feud with adviser Kellyanne Conway's partner

Trump told reporters Wednesday on the White House grounds, "I think he's doing a tremendous disservice to a wonderful woman".

"I barely know him but just take a look", Trump said. "And I think, 'Oh, OK, ' but then I'd have to give him my power".

In his "Skullduggery" interview, Conway admitted he wept with joy and pride on election night while reflecting on how Kellyanne Conway helped engineer Trump's upset victory over Hillary Clinton.

Conway said Tuesday that he opted against working at the Justice Department after Trump offered him a position heading the civil division because he watched Trump attack the department's leaders and then fire James Comey, the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, in early 2017. In fact, it was George Conway who took himself out of consideration for a position with the Justice Department, citing family considerations.

George Conway has criticized Trump on multiple occassions despite his wife's, Kellyanne's, role as Counselor to The President.

A campaign official said that Trump has met countless people and that it was unclear if Trump would recognize George Conway if he approached him.

Kellyanne asked of Trump, sounding like she was rooting for her boss to successfully clobber her husband.

Trump fired back with an angry tweet calling George a "stone-cold LOSER and husband from hell" who is "VERY jealous" of his wife's White House credentials.

Trump, she told Politico, "left it alone for months out of respect for me".

Following Trump's 50-plus tweets (and retweets) over the weekend, George Conway tweeted out the definitions of narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Conway's defense of the president comes after she already brushed off her husband's tweets on Tuesday, saying she does not share his concern about Trump's mental state, as IJR Red reported.

"You think he shouldn't respond when somebody, a nonmedical professional accuses him of having a mental disorder?"

Amazingly, Trump's latest tweet yesterday feels like an escalation from where thing have been between he and George Conway. Nuts." He added: "You seem determined to prove my point. "Good for you! #NarcissisticPersonalityDisorder", he wrote on his Twitter account. But by invoking the DSM, Conway is not just expressing his views about the president and his administration. The mendacity, the incompetence, it's just maddening to watch.

I say this only half-jokingly: Are the Conways going to live-tweet their divorce?
