Nipsey Hussle Dead at 33

The Grammy-nominated rapper was shot and killed outside of his store called The Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles on Sunday.

The sources said two other people were also shot.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Hussle was shot multiple times and was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead. TMZ was the first to report the shooting.

Now, other National Basketball Association stars and players followed suit, with Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul being one of the first to react on the tragic incident.

Two other people were wounded in the shooting outside Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles.

Over the years, Nipsey Hussle has dropped several mixtapes and worked with JAY-Z.

The star released his first studio album, Victory Lap, a year ago and was nominated for a Best Rap Album at the Grammys.

Born Ermias Ashgedom, Hussle was a known affiliate of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, and often referenced his life growing up around the gang in his music.

Just hours before the shooting, Nipsey Hussle tweeted, "Having strong enemies is a blessing". In the following years he collaborated with Drake on the song "Killer", as well as Snoop Dogg on the song "Upside Down".

News of the shooting traveled quickly and some notable fans of Hussle reacted on social media.
