Biden accuser Lucy Flores says she'd still support Biden over Trump

Biden, who has signaled he may run for president, pushed back Sunday on allegations by Lucy Flores, a former Nevada lawmaker, who accused him of kissing and touching her inappropriately.

In a statement, Biden said over the years, "I have offered countless handshakes, hugs, expressions of affection, support and comfort".

Biden has always been known for his intimate physical style, and the appropriateness of his behaviour towards women is coming under scrutiny as he nears an announcement on a potential 2020 presidential bid.

My point was never about his intentions, and they shouldn't be about his intentions.

"It is no secret in Washington that Biden has touched numerous women inappropriately in public", a recent piece by Vox political editor Laura McGann noted.

"We have arrived at an important time when women feel they can and should relate their experiences, and men should pay attention", Biden wrote.

Staffers have confirmed to reporters that Biden still plans to run for president in the 2020 election. On CNN's State of the Union, she said that his second response was better than his first, which stated that at the time, Biden didn't have "an inkling that Ms. Flores had been at any time uncomfortable, not do they recall what she describes". Biden said nothing, she said, then moved off. Cardona said that while Biden's behavior is not automatically disqualifying for the presidency, "it all depends on how he continues to respond to this".

"Let me state upfront that I don't know her, but I absolutely support her right to speak her truth and she should be, like all women, believed".

"With all of this diversity, and all of the women who think they're men and all the men who think they're women and all of the people of color and different sexual genders and orientations or a mixture of all of that, the Democrat Party is trying to rebrand and identify itself to be demographically in touch with whatever they think the new America is or is going to become".

Lappos finally made a decision to come forward after watching the Democratic Party ignore Flores - the same party that almost brought government to a standstill during the Kavanaugh hearings, screaming to the skies over the need to "believe all women".

"As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd, I felt two hands on my shoulders. And I will", he added. "I had never interacted that way with him in that way before", Flores said. Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?' He proceeded to plan a big slow kiss on the back of my head. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. "But a still shot taken from a video - misleadingly extracted from what was a longer moment between close friends - sent out in a snarky tweet - came to be the lasting image of that day", she wrote.

However, Flores said she would not vote for Biden in a Democratic primary as there are things she does not "agree with in his history, positions he has taken" such as Biden's actions during the 1991 Congressional hearings to confirm Clarence Thomas as Supreme Court Justice. Nevertheless, Biden kisses her on her head. But her story is not mine.

"I won't pretend that this will be the last of that picture", Carter wrote, "but it will be the last of other people speaking for me". Donald Trump can win the White House after bragging about grabbing women by the genitals and paying off a porn actress with whom he had extramarital sex.

"What Lucy Flores so bravely did is say, 'This is the way he made me feel, '" Katz said.
