Justin Bieber may be laughing about his April Fools joke but many of his fans weren't.

"Of course people are mad at Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey for pranking his fans with a pregnancy post for April Fools, it's one of the top 5 jokes from this day, yall are so d-- sensitive for no reason smh", a social media user tweeted.

Sure, the fake pregnancy announcement has been a stable April Fools' joke since the dawn of time - but in recent years, people have started advocating to put an end to the popular prank that, to many, is more cruel than amusing.

"Justin Bieber joking about Hayley (sic) being pregnant is soooooo insensitive considering there's so many women out there that can not get pregnant or have lost children", one person tweeted.

Based on this information, you'd be forgiven for believing that the post was a pregnancy announcement and we hate to squash your hopes and dreams of future mini-Biebers but it turns out your boi was just having a laugh.

Bieber later posted a doctored sonogram featuring a photo of a dog, sparking this response from his own mother. But it backfired; fans were livid and pointed out that such jokes are insensitive to those who can't get pregnant. The only thing that got me through the toughest nights was your song Let Me Love You.

He continued, "But I will apologize anyway and take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended". Some might have laughed but some were offended. You know...cause it's a prank.' / 'I had a heart attack 4 a few seconds but then I remembered today's 1 April.

Justin also teased Hailey for her beauty look, comparing her to JoJo Siwa, who is known for rocking oversized bows. A lot of women struggle to get pregnant and even stay pregnant.

Source reported to People in February that the Baby crooner was "struggling" a bit and 'receiving treatment for depression'.

The latest comes from one Justin Bieber.
