United must be ‘killers’ to beat Barca - Pogba

Barcelona were eliminated at this stage last season, losing 3-0 at Roma following a 4-1 win in the first leg.

"(We will try to persuade him) that we are trying to improve, to become one of the best teams in England, and as a effect in Europe, but I think I have to respect his decision".

The club opted to insert these pay-cut clauses in players' contracts to help protect them from the inevitable drop in revenue that comes from missing out on the Champions League, with several players said to be earning huge amounts that are hard to afford on Europa League earnings.

And Hazard said Chelsea are determined to secure their goal of returning to the Champions League after missing out on this season's competition.

"For the fans I think the most important thing is when they see me on the pitch they just think that my head is with Chelsea".

"Of course we believe that we can beat them".

The former Manchester United player sang the praise of Roy Hodgson during an interview with Starsport. Winning at the Camp Nou will be a tough ask but Pogba said the PSG comeback breeds positivity. He said recently he was happy in Paris, so we must respect him, and his club. Obviously they will be careful. "But we gave them some problems as well, they gave us some problems but we know where we can hurt them". Barcelona didn't really have a lot of chances, maybe just one when David De Gea made a great save, but after that they weren't unsafe.

Belgium global Hazard will only have a year remaining on his contract at the end of 2018-19, but Chelsea may not be able to replace him due to a two-window transfer ban, against which the club have appealed. "But after that, they weren't that unsafe, not a lot of chances".

"So, try to avoid this and be a killer in front".
